Key responsibilities
Along with the rest of the performance team, you will be responsible for the physical training for the first team, and for the development of the players' physical capacity:
- Planning and execution of strength and conditioning programs for our first team players.
- Implementing and developing the club’s adopted training methodology to increase the player’s physical performance and capacity.
- Developing gym-based plans tailored to the needs of individual players with an emphasis on athletic development and performance.
- Load management at both individual and group levels.
- Collecting and monitoring physical data during training and matches, ensuring this data is used to optimize load for physical development and injury prevention.
- Conducting testing and screening of players.
Experience and skills
- Msc level education and experience working with strength and conditioning in professional football is desirable.
- Relevant courses and certifications in strength and conditioning for football
- Experience using GPS systems (preferably STATsports) and other monitoring tools to analyze and present match and training load.
- Competence in PowerBI and Excel is desirable.
- Energetic and ambitious.
- High work ethic and adaptability.
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English).
- Excellent social and collaborative skills.
